Hey Steve, I am in the UK can I use this software and bet the aussie dogs? Yes, you can as it is auto, plus the better races start around 8.00am UK summertime. All betfair account holders can bet the Australian greyhounds. Plus of course you can bet the UK dogs with this bot, just we have not tried the strategy shown above.

Greyhounds are a great betting medium, in that there are limited size field, 6 or less in UK and Ireland and 8 or less in Australia and NZ.

This bot will bet on all greyhound races that Betfair cover, so 100's of races a day, and you now can set your greyhound dutch bot to bet to your instructions.

Imagine you want to bet a certain track (Mandurah my home track) and the 405m races, Trap (Box) 5 if the dog is Fav wins 49.44% of the races, in 2019 https://www.thegreyhoundrecorder.com.au/tracks/mandurah and box 1 a lot more starters is at 43.78% strike rate.

If you want to, you can set the bot to bet Mandurah 405m races and only bet when the fav is in box (trap) 5 or 1. Obviously you would only get a few bets, but a high strike rate.

Yes, you can isolate a meeting and only bet that one if you like, maybe you want to bet the Fav and second fav only.

So, yes you can bet the first 6 favs, or any combination of those.

Or you can bet On Traps (Boxes) and set up the main template for each track (do it once only.)

With the guide from either the Greyhound Recorder Australia or for other countries Greyhound Data

Plus you can exclude tracks you don't want to bet on

So you can tailor the traps you want to dutch and they will stay stored so when those tracks are racing the bot will know which traps or boxes to bet.

As I mentioned at the top, you can make it as simple as Back the fav, if you want or if yiou are a researcher you will want more in depth data like the traps and tracks.

Yep, how do you do like the sound of watching the dogs (or listen) without having to place the bets?

That is what I have been doing today as I build this page, (in Australia they are racing every few minutes, this evening).

So by the time you watch the race you have no time to bet the next one, yet the bot is doing it on it's ear.

And is making a profit, winning most races with the 1st and 2nd fav being dutched.

Plus you can use small stakes.

I am also using the two best traps for the tracks racing, provided the dogs odds are between 2.00 and 10.00, that one is making a profit also.

And I am testing the Fav if in Trap 1 or 8 only (Australia of course).

What I am trying to get across is, that it can be a wonderful entertainment for those that are looking for action and hopefully a profit.

These are the settings we used above.

The settings on the right hand side show how we set the bot to bet these selections.

And you can see in the Blue box, we have choosen only two favs, but you can do more or less, totally up to you.

We can also in the setting select the traps (boxes) we want to include or exclude.

Plus if you have a type of race you don't want like Maidens you you can deselect that class.

The settings for the staking we had 1.00 set, which means that we want to win 1.00 everytime we have a winning race, and we have set the Profit Delta at .50, so that we can collect extra money as we go.

We have a stop loss set at 100. With a Hard Stop, which means in the series of bets, if the losts are going over 100, the Bot will reset and stop the loss recovery.

Yes the staking is a loss recovery, however you can use is it without the recovery, by simply choosing the No. Losses to 1, so the bot resets staking after a losing race. Or maybe setting it at 2, so it will allow one loss before it resets.

This bot also allows you to use the place bet at SP if not matched before the start.

Also this bot allows small bets, which is great for smaller wagering punters.

This is only one option you can use with the bot.

This is another we are backing only the Fav in Australia, only if it is starting from Trap 1 or 8

This is where we are only betting one dog in the race.

So no we are not dutching in this option.

It is one we are testing on Australian racing.

The Fav must be in either Box (Trap) 1 or 8 to be bet.

Over two and half hours, 11 races, 6 winners, 54% strike rate.

Odds between 2.00 and 5.00

Profit was 11.10 units, (you will notice the first bet was a carryover stake so it was not a fresh start.)

This method has a lower staking as you are doing one dog only.

No reason why you can not adapt this to UK and Ireland racing.

And the great thing is you can use 3 different approaches.

The Dutch1, Dutch2, and Dutch3 options are really three bots with the one.

In that you can run different strategies, or the same strategy but separate it over different countries, or distances, or classes. Plus much much more.

You can tailor venues, that you may or may not want to bet on. Or use the Track option that is in the traps Tab at the top.

You can delete a whole meeting by deselecting it. Or you may want to eliminate certain races by delselecting them. (Turn of Auto Reload if you use this feature).

What Can't you do with the Greyhound Dutch Traps?

You can not choose the dogs you want to bet.
You can not lay dogs.
You can not level stake the dogs.

What you may want to know.

1. Do I need Windows? Yes, you need a windows powered PC to use the Greyhound Dutch Bot, however you can use a windows powered VPS, and then you can access the bot via your phone, tablet, MAC or PC. Yes, this is a separate purchase, at present you can get it for around 7.00 euro a month. See link above this for more on VPS.

2. Do I need Betfair account to run this Bot, Yes you do, as this bot reads the Betfair computers to access markets and place the bets.

3. Can I run mutliple copies of the bot on the PC or VPS? No, only one copy is to used as it will confuse staking etc if you open the bot twice.

4. Can I use level staking only? No you can level target only, you do this by checking the No. Losses to 1, then it will not try and recover the lost staking. We have not tested long term how level staking will go. However at levels of 70% winning races, at minimum odds of 2.50 you should make money.

5. Can I pick and chose the tracks and races I want to dutch on? Yes you can, however you must untick Auto Reload, then you can uncheck the races an or tracks you want the bot to skip.

6. Will the bot get all the bets in the dutch placed? Most of the time, yes it will, however some dogs, may not get backed if the price is falling and does not go back to the original asking price. The bot will keep bets and attemp to place them in running. In our testing most of the time all bets are place.

7. Are the settings you have on this site the best? No, most likely not, it is the three we choose to test that once the bot was completed, no doubt you will find better ways, with field, price etc adjustments.

8. Do I need the PC running for the bot to work? Yes you do, unless you are using a VPS (virtual private server) which is how we use it.

9. Can I get the bot on a monthly subscription? Sorry, no we have a 12 month option only.

10. Can I run the bot on simulation mode? No, sorry however you can use small stakes will you find strategies that suit you.
